PROJECT: TABLE TRANSFORM

Born out of necessity during the pandemic, this custom furniture project was our first venture into creating multifunctional designs for small spaces. In a compact Brooklyn apartment, we needed a piece that could seamlessly transition between a coffee table and a working desk. The result was a convertible coffee table with a hidden mechanism that gently elevates the surface to desk height when pulled from above.

The mechanism is integrated into the wood design, maintaining a clean aesthetic while ensuring smooth functionality. Beneath the surface, the table features storage space ideal for games, puzzles, and other essentials, making it a versatile and practical addition to any living space.
