The wood we use is sustainably harvested from Anderson Hollow Farms, our family’s land in Middle Tennessee that has been in the Anderson family since 1850. We carefully select mature walnut, red oak, and cedar trees, which are milled into lumber on the farm. The lumber is dried either in our on-site solar kiln or through air-drying, depending on the wood species and conditions. Once the wood reaches its ideal moisture content, it’s ready to be crafted into furniture built to last for generations.

Our current turnaround time for standard products is typically 8–10 weeks, as listed on each product’s shop page. If we have finished pieces on hand, the turnaround may be as short as 1 week. In times of high demand, turnaround times may exceed 10 weeks—we’ll always reflect any changes to timing on the individual product page so you can plan accordingly.
For custom-designed pieces, the lead time can vary depending on the complexity of the design and build process. In general, custom work takes approximately 12 weeks from initial concept approval to completion. We'll provide a more specific estimate during the consultation and quoting process. -
Each piece we build is finished with care to protect the wood and bring out its natural beauty.
For oak and walnut, we use a plant-based hardwax oil finish that bonds at the molecular level, enhancing the natural grain with a smooth matte appearance. This finish is non-toxic, food-safe, and applied in a single coat for long-lasting protection. Custom tones are available upon request, but unless otherwise specified, we use a clear finish to highlight the wood’s natural character.
For cedar, which we typically use in outdoor pieces, we apply a deep-penetrating oil-based stain in a rich brown tone. This finish offers excellent water resistance and UV protection while preserving the wood’s texture and natural grain. It’s a durable, low-maintenance option ideal for outdoor environments. -
Every piece is built to last using walnut, oak, or cedar milled and dried on our farm. We offer a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. Learn more on our Return Policy page.
